A moment that stuck with Kaylah – “Shortly after my admission, I instructed at a Conciliation Conference for a matter which had a modest property pool. The Conciliation Conference ended with no resolution. However, I was able to resolve the matter that afternoon for my client by continuing negotiations with the other party, ending the ongoing legal fees and stresses that litigation often promotes while empowering my client to have control over the outcome. This moment reminds me every day of the importance of using skilful, open communication and assisting my clients with resolving their disputes by consent where possible.”
