Avneet is a detail-oriented and strategic professional with a strong foundation in administration, stakeholder engagement, and business development. Her cross-sector experience across corporate, nonprofit, and education settings brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to her role at Lewis Family Lawyers.

She is currently completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Management). Avneet combines academic insight with practical skills across operations, marketing, and strategy. Focused on innovation and efficiency, she strives to create meaningful impact through the law and purpose-led business development.

Outside of work, Avneet is the founder of Naari to Niaari, a Canadian non-profit established in 2015 that creates spaces for women to connect, grow, and uplift one another. She also serves as a Board Director with the World Sikh Organization, advocating for Sikh human rights, and contributes to student representation as a committee member of the Sydney University Law Society’s Women’s Committee.

A moment that stuck with Avneet – “Growing up, I was taught the Sikh principle of Sarbat da Bhala—a prayer for the wellbeing of all. It continues to guide how I show up: with compassion, intention, and a commitment to serve. This mindset grounds me, especially in family law, where empathy and human connection matter most”
